Our Flagship Nursery
At Wilson Nurseries, we’ve been cultivating a love of gardening in our 4 acres of greenhouses and on our 25-acre campus in Frankfort for nearly four decades. A time-honored tradition of growing, unusual and unique, new and classic plants, has made us Kentucky’s ultimate destination nursery and garden center. Created and nurtured with the energy, grit, continuous innovation and passion of our team of plant enthusiasts, we’ve married horticultural knowledge with uncompromising quality and inspired design to educate and entice you with every visit.
Our Frankfort location is also home to Sage Garden Cafe, our garden to table restaurant. Sage’s menu reflects the year-round yields of seasonal vegetables and herbs from our greenhouses and gardens. Salads, soups and sandwiches on artisan breads, baked in-house feature healthful, regional favorites, paired with local wines and craft beers to enliven and enhance a dining experience unique to the Bluegrass. Daily specials and signature desserts feature the best of Kentucky bourbon, making Sage Garden Café a perfect stop along the trail.
